Today Ryan and I went downtown Seattle to go to the pride parade in support of LGBTQ
We had a blast despite the (very) hot weather! The crowd was energetic and friendly and on top of getting loads of pictures we got free stuff as well! Companies and groups were throwing things into the crowd, everything from single serving Starbucks coffee to beads and pride stickers. It was wonderful to be a part of and to know that we are living in an area that is so supportive of equal rights for everyone. Here are only some of the pictures!

The parade started out with what was called “Dykes on Bikes”
After the parade we went to Ivars (I always pronounce it in French as a homage to Quebec) for lunch. I had clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl and a salad.
Ryan had a salmon pasta but didn’t get a picture of it 😦
