Today Ryan and I went to the 2013 Seattle Antiquarian Book Fair
It was really interesting and full of very serious book collectors. Nothing like I expected. I thought there would be some used books, some old books and then some rare ones. Instead the fair was full of super rare, expensive collectables. Everywhere you looked there were books upwards of 2500$ and after the first few rows that was cheap! We saw a collection of Alexander Dumas books that was limited to ten copies selling for 65 thousand dollars
There were signed first edition copies of Ayn Rand, Faulkner, Hemingway, Kessey and Vonnegut everywhere!
Looks like a heavenly place to be (if you are Sarah and Bernie!).
